3. Fall Hair: It's Full and Foxy
After
several seasons of strand styles with lift just at the roots, the
hottest heads now have volume throughout the length of the hair rather
than near the crown. It's all about glamorous, lusher-than-lush
tresses. There are no excuses — this look can sizzle on anyone — so say
sayonara to limp, lifeless locks and go for a magnified mane.
This look can be
achieved with PureOlogy PureVolume Shampoo, PureVolume Conditioner, and Blow-dry Amplifier. |

4. Perfect Luminous Skin
Inspired by High Definition, the new skin radiance is nothing overly
powdered or shiny. Simply flawless, as if fresh from a facial, with a
light sateen mineralized feel. |

5.The Fringe
We saw plenty of the fringe at the start of 2007, and then somewhere in
the first half of the year it simply lost its buzz. Then, as the year
drew to a close, it became a certain hair trend for 2008 when
hypermodel Kate Moss got a fringe. What's best is that as a trend,
you're going to have plenty of options to make it your own. |
 |
| How many trends really have that many different styles? Few. But with
the fringe hair trend in 2008 there are three main ways you can wear
it; |
| 1. The Blunt Fringe - the style that is the safest choice. Cut thick
by bringing in hair from near either temple, the thick, blunt cut
fringe remains the most popular way to wear this hair trend. |
 |
| 2. The Kate - that's what we've dubbed Kate Moss' fringe as she's
wearing it in quite a unique way: fairly long. While having hair
sitting in front of our eyes, almost below them, would annoy us mere
mortals for Kate it’s a signature part of the look. |
 |
| The Pixie - the fringe that takes the most confidence to pull off,
ultra short and quite boyish the pixie fringe really sits as part of
the 2008 cropped hair trend but is an element you can easily borrow. |

6. Lips: Bold or Muted!
The pouty lip is as much as a staple of Fall as the vintage-inspired
fashion. Brillantly creative crimsons and pouty flesh tones snare the
spotlight, always undeniably chic. Sensual in attitude, lips mirror the
new mood of the season. |

7. The Bob
Amazingly versatile, there are so many ways to wear the pob (poshe bob)
this year that you're going to be perfectly on trend but still 100%
unique. If you're more traditional, wear it as a natural accompaniment
to the revival of 1920s, 1930s, and 1940s fashion trends (think
Catherine Zeta Jones in Chicago). Or go the other end of the spectrum
with something far more modern
like Hayden Panettiere. Or how about letting out your inner sex kitten
with the rock-chic version we've been fantasizing about on model Freja
Beha Erichsen (below right)? You can make it your own in plenty of
other ways: fringed or fringeless, blonde or brunette, short at the
back, or blunt cut all over. |

| These looks can be achieved with a variety of Redken products that can be customized by your stylist. |

9. Return to Glamour!
With Veronica Lake waves rolling down her shoulders, fall’s woman splurges with unabashed glamour. |

|
10. The men: School Boy or Rocker!
2009 sees men's hair styles fall into two distinct categories: school
boy and rocker. But while the rocker look is certainly a 20th Century
creation, the resulting hair style finds its roots (if you'll pardon
the pun) distinctly in 19th Century Britain. And so it is in 2009;
while the odd 2009 runway collection featured something akin to a
grunge revival, the majority of us will live out 2009 with a refined,
classically inspired hair cut. |

| The point is not to look like you rolled out of bed without looking in
the mirror and combing your hair, but to allow for your hair to fall
more randomly. |

| The newest way to wear long hair is with lots of texture and long layers, especially around the perimeter of the hairline. |
