FORT WAYNE, IN (Indiana's News Center)---
Wives of soldiers deployed overseas known as the 'Warriors at Home' get some special treatment on Sunday.
Kim Ross's husband is deployed overseas.
Kim Ross: " We are all members of Warriors at Home. We are the wives of the soldiers from the 221st Ordinance Company and they are based here in Fort Wayne. They're currently deployed in Kuwait and Afghanistan and they've been gone just over 200 days and they'll be back in the spring.
The people here at the loft have been generous enough to bring us in today so we can do some glamour shot type makeover and photo shoots. It's a surprise for the guys for Christmas."
The 'Warriors at Home' get together about once per week to give each other support while their husbands are away.
The Loft Salon donated its store, time, and employees so that these wives could kick back and enjoy being pampered a bit.
